Felicity is a British actress who gained fame for portraying Jane Hawking, the protagonist of The Theory of Everything. Jones is acting since she was 12years old, has been a part of many TV series and movies. She began by appearing in The Treasure Seekers, a TV film. Later, in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters Sisters, a sequel of The Worst Witch. In her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she played the lead role in), Young Ruth, she went on and acted in various other movies. For instance, in The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she became a household name for her work. It was however her character in The Theory of Everything' that won her an Oscar nomination the first time. Jones in her role as Stephen Hawking's wife in the biopic, which is based on the author's life, was well-received both by critics and viewers. Inferno featuring Tom Hanks was next on her resume. In 2016 the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles named Jones for the position of British Artist of The Year because of her talents and contribution to cinema.
