Suzy Kolber (born Suzanne Lisa Kolber) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the 14th of May 1964. Her parents are Jewish. Her current age in 58. Sandra Kolber's mother is known by the name of Gene Kolber. In 1982, she graduated from Upper Dublin High School and Sandy Run Middle School. She received an Associate of Arts in Telecommunications at the University of Miami, in 1986. As a student at the undergraduate level, she landed in the position of sports director for Dynamic Cable Coral Gables Florida. The company also hired her by Dynamic Cable for two years, from 1984 until 1986. She was also a member of the University of Miami water skiing team in this period. When she was a teenager, Plaza participated in the community theater in her hometown of Wilmington acting performing improv and directing one-act plays. Her move from Wilmington to New York City after high school to study film and TV production at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts as well as taking classes in comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. When she graduated from high school, she relocated to New York City where she attended improv courses in the theatre of Upright Citizens Brigade and was a film and TV production student at the Tisch School for the Arts. She graduated in 2006.
