Annie Mist Thorisdottir, from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. She also trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie is first woman who is a winner at CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. She was second in both the both the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. The popular athlete is the first woman who won the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Also, she is known as having been the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie together with her both her parents and siblings were born in Reykjavik Iceland. Being a sports and exercising enthusiast since an early age, she took part in numerous school competitions and was awarded numerous medals. In 2009, Annie Thorisdottir took part in the CrossFit game in California. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. She is 5'7" and she weighs approximately the 67-kg mark. Annie was the first to begin CrossFit classes in California in 2009. She did well in her first races and placed within the top 10 of 70. She did not manage to achieve any success in the event and finished her time with an overall score of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished second in CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. After one year of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performance was enough to earn her the title. Annie was again victorious at in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to win two CrossFit Games at once. Also, in 2014, she received a Silver medal and, most recently, in 2021, she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Presently, Annie coaches and trains for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie has gained notoriety for her athletic talents, is featured in ads for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs, among others. Her own Youtube channel called "Annie", with over 1000 followers. This is the channel where she posts videos on eating habits, parenting and traveling.
